Day 01

We pick you up from the airport at Gagal or the Bus station. We drive to your hotel. In the afternoon we take you around the lively bazaar with its many shops selling local handicrafts. Visit the Kangra Art Museum, which offers you glimpses of rare artefacts that date back to the 5th century. Evening return to your hotel.

Day 02

Drive to the lively thriving town of Macleodgunj set upon a mountain ridge surrounded by luxuriant conifer forests. En-route stop over at the Church of St. John in the Wilderness one of the oldest cathedrals in north India built in 1852. It also has the grave of Lord Elgin a viceroy of British India. Once you reach Macleodgunj, it almost seems you’ve stepped into Tibet. Visit the Namgyal Monastery or Tsuglagkhang - Dalai Lama’s Temple. This houses massive statues of Buddha and the Dalai Lama often preaches or leads prayers here. Stroll through the lively bazaar where you’ll find monks and foreigners strolling and a number of interesting shops and bazaars. Evening return to your hotel in upper Dharamshala.

Day 03

Drive to the ancient town of Kangra and visit the Kangra Fort. This fort is an amazing piece of architecture built high upon a spur of a hill overlooking a beautiful river valley. After lunch in the afternoon visit the famous Brajreshwari Temple one of the 51 Shaktipeeths and the most important pilgrimage centre in Kangra Valley. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 04

We drive you to the Bus Stand or the Airport for your journey back home.
